Well, this is the end.
#diaryofasenselesswanderer is over. Endings usually come with sadness. But I don’t feel particularly sad or even happy. Every thing has to come to an end, to pave way for new beginnings right!
I may post randomly thereof, and may or may not use the hashtag again. But the “continous ritual of journaling one’s daily/weekly activities in a structured diary” is over. The reason being that circumstances now don’t require me to post often. To be frank, this diary used to be a place keeping me sane, a place I used to talk to myself in the absence of any other outlet and even though I don’t have a similarly structured outlet outside of this diary at the moment, there are many random opportunities now, more readily available than before, to accomodate and absord the bursts of outpouring that called this diary home in the past. Family is one.
Cousins and relatives are another outlet. And ofcourse, social media, new emerging sites where railguards are less strong and one can dump their thoughts in the comment box of someone else, momentarily, and move on. Ofcourse none of these hold any water against a well-kept journal. Maybe its my own indifference towards this structure, this pillar, that has now become a weight, letting it die.
The big sister is now in university. I work, play games, watch Youtube Documentaries, gab with mom and plan future with dad, no offense to any of the effeminite readers. Life has evolved, you know. While mourning losses and thanking opportunities, somewhere in between I grew up. Grew up enough to be judged, and to judge, by people as a man of his own. In village, amongst the members of party, the class of data analytics I’m in, the social media people, and ofcourse, the mom and the dad. Circumstances evolve and put you in a responsible position before you know it. Just as subtly as a kid gains consiouscness, a boy becomes a man and a girl becomes a woman. Life!
Anyways. A melancholic goodbye to the diary, to a friend, to home, a place to hold and a place held thereof. Good bye, Tess!
