Sometime in Fall 2021
I am struggling with my schedule. A friend said today, “It’s alright to sleep till 7am when you’re doing a 9-5 Awais”. And .. really?
8 hours per day + 2 hours commuting to/fro job = 10 hours of day
10/day x 30 days / month = 30 PKR
300 hours of work = 30,000 PKR
That’s literally 1 hour for just 100RS
And it’s just not my plight. After graduation, what is the average a working class student can get for 10 hours a day? Say .. 60000. That’s 200 PKR an hour.
Why do people not protest? Why don’t educated people act to modernize Islam and liberate it from m-squad (molvi,mufti,molana)? Why don’t we anticipate thoughts as they come, and instead just act on them or discard them right away? Why does no one think of greater good?
Because they are kept busy. Get up. Wear a tie and go to work. Come back tired, Unwind, exercise and sleep. And stress if you want to work for yourself because you got no time for that. You can’t start a political party because you got no time. They have you by the knees. They are crony capitalists.
Crony capitalism (Capitalism based on exploitation of governments instead of honest competition of businesses) is everywhere.
If it’s a problem everywhere, that doesn’t make it any less of a problem, does it? And also, solutions need not be the old ones either. I’ve often seen people raise the point, “Well Awais, What happened in Venezuela, Cuba and Russia isn’t a very happy ending either!”. Here’s an answer off the top of my head, “Why do we have to follow them step by step?” The talent in Pakistan is second to none in erasing the old system, creating a new one and maintaining it. What we need is
