Hy…how are you. So It’s the 3rd time I have deleted Snapchat in 2 years. Here’s the story of how, for each time.

The first time when Covid 19 was raging full fledge in the cities of Pakistan and I was lurking nearby, through the muddy fields of central Punjab without telling my family lol. I never actually went to go on to the farthest point I planned to, hat of the Sindh. But still, it was a picturesque journey as a whole. I had scored a 3.1 GPA in that semester, so study wasn’t a problem too. I downloaded Snapchat and began posting posts about where I was. This is before I started hadiwanderz so no one knew me except some relatives and villagers. It was so boring and complex I deleted it.

2nd time, I downloaded for bitmojis and filters. I was living in a tiny room near NUST across the Highway, and NUST was closed. In those days, I also uploaded the really shitty video of NUST called “10 minutes of NUST”. It was too complex and I deleted that within 24 hours as well.

Recently, I was fascinated by what it’s actual purpose was: Seeing and then auto deleting properties. I am a narcissistic individual so this used triggered me a lot. I imagined how if I ever get into a relationship and the other person has Snapchat even installed, how I would continually suspect her. But then it actually happened that I had a relationship and she had Snapchat and would use it. But I was okay. Snapchat was there, and so was I, without having the urge to check or mistrust because … she was there. The physical presence really dulls or soothes your trust issues ig.

But I downloaded it again a little while ago and couldn’t stand it. It’s a messy app. Too cartoonish with a really shitty purpose in its very basis. People on Snapchat will always counter this by being “politically correct” but we know, everyone knows what the fuck it has been used for at-least once on every phone. I deleted it for the third time within 24 hours again.

And Allah rewards and punishes you with one thing people, that is love. Making somebody to gravitate towards you. It’s the 2nd highest reward possible by Allah to a human. That’s what actually Allah gave his Prophet, may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, for Allah himself.

And the opposite is true when Allah wants to punish someone. Or I am just talking nonsense, who knows.
