Wealthy beyond Income

While in Pakistan:
1. Are you interested in politics?
2. Do you actively follow politics?
3. Do you attach your emotions with changes in political picture on daily basis?

If your answer to 2/3 of these questions is No, then this piece of writing is for you. If you do associate yourself strongly with politics, then I guess you won’t be interested in what comes next.

Why are we uninterested in politics? Why Gen Z, us, so aloof of modern politics. I think, (and I think you think the same) our political system is to be blamed here. We know very clearly that most politicians are liers. They are liers on public platforms. They are liers in their personal lives (which very much is open for questions when one becomes a politician). They lie when speaking and their silence speaks lies. So much so that now, with the disinterest of youth towards politics at its peak, politicians of Pakistan say about any particular lie, that “That was a political statement, why did you assume it was true?”. I mean they dare to insult people (who are living in a democratic rule) by saying “You should have known I was lying because that was a political statement”. So … when we know this is politics, why interest ourselves in it? You are right in not following politics.

Then .. have you ever asked yourself the question: Who is it that we should be interested in? Who is causing this turmoil in political/economic environment of the country? From here on you might differ from me.

My answer is: Fathers and Mothers. Brothers and Sisters. Look around oneself. We perfectly know what our dads do. Is it in-matching with how we live? Do our living standards match our total income and expenses? If yes, congratulations. You’re the best people for Pakistan. You pay taxes and yet earn halal. You are why this country is living.

On the other hand if your living style doesn’t matches your legal, halal income gateways, and you knowingly do nothing to prevent it, then my dear gentleman and goodlady, for every murder done and every person raped under this democracy, and for every lie spoken too, you’re a murderer, a rapist, a lier again and again everyday. No one can be even the Prime Minister of Pakistan and own a place as whoppingly big as Jati Umra or Bani Gala, and morally justify it. How big was Muhammad’s status in his society? Was he respected? Was he a leader? You sure can’t be more popular, influential (intensity and magnitude wise), respected and powerful than the Prophet PBH, right? Or are you? If you are, I have no comments. If you are still less powerful and influential than Muhammad PBUH, how big was his haveli? 300Kanal? 36000Kanal? How big? How grandeur?

And fuck religion if that’s not your taste, sure. Any human with common knows for a fact that a home bigger where you can fucking drive a car inside it, is too much for 1 human being. A family? Sure, 1 Kanal? 2? 20? We are bombarded by stats and numbers so much in media that we don’t really grasp how big a Billion and how grand an old Mustang is, entertainment wise. Its not need. Its wants. If your wants become your haves, with no moral compass to your income … well, I hope you are happy.

We have lots of Gen Z shameless enough to raise questions on people around us, are interested in how much people like you earn halal and what is your living standard. We see, we sizzle and we say out loud: Let the unearned riches be hated forever. This hatred burns the arrows which will then be flung.
